Hospitality of hotel owners was superb and personalized; excellent food and service in adjoining restaurant/bistro; Nespresso machine in room was a treat. Location near Berri-UQAM made transport easy.
Relatively small room size. Wood floors were nice aesthetically but magnified sound from room immediately above. Hard to regulate room temperature.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Lovely rooms, great facilities, superb breakfast, exceptionally friendly owner/managers, and a perfect location for Montreal.
Carrying heavy suitcases up the steps was a drag, when we arrived late at night - but help was offered next day as we left.

The innkeeper - Albert. He was incredibly attentive and very accomodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
The only thing that I would say is that it was slightly noisy. I could hear bits from the other units and people going up or down the stairs but again, the benefit far outweighs the very small discomfort.

Without a doubt our expectations were exceeded. This boutique hotel, owned by father, Albert and son, Mike, was stylish, with charming old character, fantastically located to enjoy the diversity of the city. Our suite, with an outside balcony, was generous in size, good quality contemporary decor, with a good standard bathroom featuring a fantastic rain shower. The breakfast included was outstanding, located in the café/bistro/patisserie next door, also owned by the hotel. The reviews commend this quaint eatery, and they are right. The customer service was excellent, an A+, offering a level of concierge service you might expect to receive at the Four Seasons. Overall good value for money

Rooms very attractive and extremely well appointed.Modern decor and all modern amenities!! A jewel!!
There is no elevator. This can be a problem if one has difficulty with long stairs. So ask for first floor room if you have trouble with stairs.

The hotel and restaurant staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome in the hotel.

The room, the shower facilities, the bed quality, the breakfast offer.
A place were you can sit down with your friends to have a chat etc. I did not experience the business facilities on third floor as I were not aware of their existance until the last day of my visit.

Excellent location. The nearby subway provides access to three lines and the 'Old Town' is a moderate stroll away. Very friendly staff, neat and stylish room and with a great breakfast included.
Nothing - liked everything

Excellent location, right in the middle of all the action on St. Denis, across street from le theatre St. Denis and very close to a metro access. We stayed in a suite on third floor with an espresso machine and a terrific shower. Underground parking again across the street costs $15. Reception staff (Mr. Albert) very helpful and friendly.

Fabulous room, we were upgraded to one of their suites. Great location for exploring, right in the centre of the Latin Quarter, very lively
The downside of having the benefit of being in the middle of the liveliest part of town, is that you get quite a lot of noise late at night.

The rooms were fantastic .. very clean and spacious.. The staff was very helpful .. the location was in the middle of a popular street close to clubs and restaurants and across from the movie theater..
I wish they had an elevator or some notification on the website.. Or larger notification if I missed it.. The front desk was staffed about 12 hours which had to work around a little but not difficult as the restaurant was open in the evenings and had contact with hotel management.

Le Relais Lyonnais lived up to its #1 Booked.net rating. Old, quaint, clean, inviting and centrally located. The restaurant downstairs is a bonus with great food. The lack of an elevator was great for our legs and not an issue for luggage as Albert very willingly carried our bags upstairs for us.
